ABOUT ME

Katrin: I am half English half German. I grew up in York and then spent some time living in Russia prentending to teach English and then went to uni in Edinburgh. I now work for a charity in London which I really really enjoy and spend a lot of my spare time dancing. Apart from that I enjoy pottering around, cycling round london, talking nonsense to my friends, going to the pub and travelling.

Ali: I grew up in the middle of nowhere in Northumberland. I have spent quite a bit of time travelling and have lived in Scotland for the past few years. I am very sociable and enjoy going to the pub and giving or attending dinner parties. I like snowboarding, climbing and long bike rides.

We try to do a bit of couchsurfing when travelling and we also host people in London.

Interests

Katrin: I like dancing - especially african dance and samba. I also enjoy cycling, going out, travelling, reading etc etc.

Music, Movies, and Books

Katrin: I love music but find it hard to make a list of what I like - I guess I have a bizarre taste ranging from indie to random 80's classics. The last gig I went to was Vampire Weekend.
Films..hmm...last few films I went to see where Slumdog Millionare, the Wrestler and the Reader (which was brilliant). I also rather embaressingly love the film The Wedding Singer!

Ali: i have loads and loads of music in my collection so I find it hard to choose my favourites. I usually just listen to it all on shuffle.
Films: I don't usually watch films more than once but I will make an exception for Bond.
