Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I only found about Couchsurfing pretty recently through a good friend of mine who all but swooned over it. His speech got me hooked up pretty quickly, so I thought to myself "Why not give it a try?". So, here I am! ;-)

I really love the concept of sharing your home with somebody and the idea of travelling and meeting new people from all over the world by crashing on their couches. I believe that it is really the best and funniest way to meet new friends and to learn more about different cultures and languages.

Music, Movies, and Books

Oh dear, this could take a while...

Music: my taste in music is not specified, I listen to basically everything (Blues, Rock, Metal, Jazz, Irish Folk etc...). As long as a song makes me wanna dance all over the place and sing it at the top of my lungs, I'm okay with it.

Movies/Series: Life is beautiful (sniff), Jurassic Park, Star Wars, Harry Potter, The Lord of the Rings, Breaking Bad, Sherlock, Little Britain, Come Fly with me and Parks and Recreations to name a few.

Books: Some of my favorite authors are J.K.Rowling, Terry Pratchett, Arthur Conan Doyle, Agatha Christie and Walter Moers.

Wanna learn Englisch or French? No problem, I can help with that. In fact, I'm trying to learn Spanisch, Italian and/or Breton myself.
