Hey everybody, I live together with my boyfriend in Nuremberg and we have a couch to offer in the living room. I study sociology and hope to finish my masters degree soon. I love eggplants almost as much as I love coffee.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I like the idea of giving and receiving on an altruistic basis in a world in which you usually have to pay for every tiny thing you get. Letting people you don't know into your private home resp. staying in someone's home whom you don't know needs a lot of trust in advance. That so many people all over the world are willing to share shows that there is hope :)

Also, when in 2019 my boyfriend and me are off on our trip around the world, we hope to find accomodation at one of your fellow couchsurfers' couches.

Oh and my French is not really fluent, but hopefully enough for the basics!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Once during a surfing session in Australia (i am no pro) we just sat on the surfboards in the ocean and out of a sudden there was a group of about 7 dolphins which came super close to all the surfers. They played with the waves, "stole" the waves from the surfers and even poked my feet and my board really gentle. That was the closest i ever experienced wild animals in their natural habit and left me in awe. After all those years it is the first thing which pops up when thinking of my best experience, so it propably really is.
