ABOUT ME

Im originally from Stockholm. I moved to Åre, a ski resort 650 km north of Stockholm 27 years ago. Since then I have lived in the mountain and I loved the life here. Im living in the countryside close to nature. I like being outdoors. I love the summer with swimming, mountain hikes and horseback riding. Åre is famous attraction in Sweden. People came here to breath fresh air and do outside activities. Its a beautiful aria.

Im working with handicapped people, helping them out in their lives.

I love travelling and I belive this is the way to meet people and see the world. Now Im traveling Europe with my car.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I have been couch surfing in a few places and I have had very good experiences. Its a lovely way of meeting people, share stories and get to know the country in a much better way. I came to places where I never would have gone to and I have meet so many nice people along the road.
Im so grateful.
I have been couch surfing in Sicily, a couple of times in New Zealand, in New York and a few times in Australia.
On this trip through Europe I have surfed in Italy a few times.
Beautiful people and beautiful places.

Interests

I love travelling. I love to meet different people and change experiences. I enjoy art, theatre , concerts and small festivals. I like being among people but I also like privacy. I like sharing meals, learning homestyle cooking. I love going to the local markets enjoying the atmosphere.
I like to take a coffee in a bar watching people.
I like to dance, do yoga, take walks, talk to people, laugh.
I like talking about spirits, true believes and go a little deeper.
I have been traveling in Asia quite a lot and I love the differences. The crowds, the coulors the intensity and the great acceptans that is present in the streets.
I love animals, I used to have animals myself. I have a dream to help animals at a rescue center somewhere.
I like to be positiv in this upside down world we live in today.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

One of the best trips I have done is to Anapurna in Nepal. A fantastic hike high up in the mountain. Beautiful view s and fantastic people!!
I would Love to go back!
