I am currently studying abroad in Berlin and will soon be exploring Europe with my friend Sari Rickansrud during a semester break. We both studied at UC Berkeley, she in cognitive science, English literature, and education, I in linguistic and German. We are friendly, flexible, and respectful. We love meeting new people and are currently studying abroad, and have very much loved seeing more of the world and the people it has to offer. We are into a lot of similar things (books, comics, musicals, etc.) and know we get along while living together (past roommates). We are very much looking forward to making new friends through our travels. :)

One of my favorite parts of traveling has been meeting friends in different cities and seeing the city through their eyes and then showing off "my" city when they visit me. So what could be better than doing all of this while meeting new friends along the way?

I generally like mixtures of genres but I tend to listen to: doo wop, rap, new wave, hip hop, musical soundtracks, folk punk and more.

My favorite movies are Back to the Future (all parts),

Book-wise I read high fantasy, urban fantasy/paranormal and silly romances. I've read way too much to quickly choose a favorite but I'm currently reading and enjoying Patrick Rothfuss's The Name of the Wind.
