ABOUT ME

You know this question is so bias! So I'll just summarise what people have said about me, removing the cheesy parts as best I can!

I've been told that I'm a very patient, caring and loving person. Although I am a little bit of a day dreamer, I'm quite friendly and warm.

I am very easy to get along with as I'm quite chatty, inquisitive, and usually have something to say! People generally feel quite comfortable and at ease with me, for some odd reason! haha

I love to laugh and I smile a lot too!

PHILOSOPHY

My personal philosophy is quite cliche and incredibly sappy! So apologise in advance :P

Love is about willing the best for the other. Life should be about doing whatever is best for someone, anyone - whether it is with your friends, family and strangers. Everything I do I try to make a little difference to their life. A kind word, a smile, a selfless deed....If you live life like this, there is so much joy in the world :)

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Right now I can only commit to hanging out with people during my holiday breaks.. Hopefully with time and with renovations I can open up my house to people who were so kind to open their home to me and to my sister!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

My first couchsurfing experience started this year where my Sister (an experienced couch surfer who got me into couch surfing) and I stayed at two homes in Austria. We also met some couch surfers who were happy to take us around in Morocco! They were extremely interesting people who loved their country and who loved meeting other people from different countries and I thought this is easy,really fun and heck I can and should do this too!

兴趣

From the travels I've had, I enjoy visual arts. I like paintings and architecture (usually of the Romanesque, Baroque and Gothic kind).

I like novelty stuff like Lego Land, Puzzle World, and hero stuff like Superman! kehehe.

音乐、电影和书籍

I'm a DVD addict! I'm a sucker for Comedies and T.V Series so I watch stuff like Scrubs, How I Met Your Mother, Friends, Roswell...... also other sappy stuff (please don't judge me) Glee, Boy Meets World, Gilmore Girls. I enjoy watching Hero and Fantasy movies too!

Books? Well I like the literature novels like "1984" by George Orwell, "To Kill a Mockingbird" by Harper Lee, biographies like "Mao's Last Dancer" and "Chinese Cinderella". Any book that's personal, has depth and insight or is well written..

Music? Umm I'm terrible with the names and artists of songs but I do like music. I believe I like Rock pop, grundge, Country, Ballads, Melody songs... but I also do like pop.... no techno please.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

Random stuff really: Stood at the beginning of time (Greenwich line in London); I was able to pet a tiger (Chang Mai,Thailand; Communicate with my sister across a room by whispering into a wall (Grand Central Terminal, New York); I met Mankind (the boyfriend to my friend); Eating snails in Morocco and Paris... :)

Being alive is amazing enough really!

As you know, I'm an English teacher and I'm patient so I'm quite open to anyone who is willing to have a chat with me and to practise their English!

I like learning more about the world and I enjoy the historical and artistic aspects from different countries. So if you're a lover of either I would certainly enjoy your company!
