About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To learn as much as I can, give back to the world, and have fun along the way.
PHILOSOPHY
Love is the only rational act.
It is easy in the world to live after the world’s opinion; it is easy in solitude to live after one's own; but the great man is he who in the midst of the crowd keeps with perfect sweetness the independence of solitude.
It is about simple awareness - awareness of what is so real and essential, so hidden in plain sight all around us, that we have to keep reminding ourselves, over and over...
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I've had some really fun times hanging out with couchsurfers here in Worcester! Generally impromptu story-telling, cooking, and a party often seem to happen. Some people were hosted through my roommate David, others through my friend Zak down the street. The couchsurfing community is awesome.

Teach, Learn, Share
I'm good at: cooking (vegetarian), playing the flute, sailing, writing, math, skiing, rock climbing, slacklining. I know a bunch about global warming, vegetarianism, environmental activism/ organizing, environmental issues in general, environmental engineering, urban planning, sustainability, transportation.
I can tell you about my experiences in Thailand (Bangkok, Isaan, and Krabi/ Tonsai) and China (Shanghai and Beijing). I've lived in and know about Worcester and Cape Cod.
I love learning about different places and cultures. I like picking up new music; share your favorite. I'd be interested in gaining some dance skills if you have any! And I love learning new cooking styles. If you are able to give advice regarding careers in the environmental field, that would be cool too.
