ABOUT ME

I am from a small town, called Gimli. It is right on the shoes of Lake Winnipeg and only about a 45 minute drive from the city of Winnipeg.

I really enjoy being outdoors and doing activities such as walking, running, biking, canoeing, swimming, and just taking it easy.

I love animals, especially dogs! I have a small dog and her name is Shatzie.

I like to meet new people, especially ones who share common interests.
I do not really play any instruments, but I love music and going to concerts and festivals. Always open to listening to new music, not a fan of country music (there are some great oldies, there is always an exception). A couple of my favourite artists are Neil Young, and Sublime.
I quite enjoy baking and cooking, and I am not a vegetarian.
I am not attending university or college at the present time. It is just not for me at this point in my life. The way i see it right now is school will always be there, but some places in the world might not be.....

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I just moved back to Winnipeg late last summer. Unfortunately am not currently able to host surfers at the apartment. I can most likely meet up for a coffee or a beer. I am still learning lots about Winnipeg since I did not grow up here, but it is a fun place.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I am still quite new to couch surfing and have only done it twice. It has been AMAZING so far! The people I met so far are really great which makes me excited for my next couchsurfing experience. Even though I don't know when that will be.

Interests

Meeting people, cooking/making drinks, canoeing, hiking, playing frisbee, listening to music (very interested in hearing new music) going to music festivals, camping, playing with my dogs,the north, reading, crocheting..... and the list goes on...
