ABOUT ME

I am studying mechanical engineering in Hamburg right now. I am originally from Latvia, city Jurmala. I am living now in Hamburg, going home to Latvia on vacations and whenever I can. Needless to say I enjoy meeting new people and getting to know more about their different and colourful backgrounds. I would like to travel more and see more of the world, meet interesting souls, and appreciate the versatile nature that is still out there to discover. I actually rather hard working, spending most of my time with my face in study books. Modest too, I think, except for food, I really enjoy lots of and tasty food ;-). Happy to go out and see the world, don't get too much time for holiday due to studies and work, so I'm super excited to travel and meet new people!

PHILOSOPHY

We can make world better, because there is good in every person. You have to live your life having fun, I believe we are given this time to do good and have fun while doing that.

To meet awesome locals! Get a couch to sleep on and have nice conversations, get to know the area from the ones living in it.

Intereses

I am interested in sports-climbing, hiking, swimming. Also interested in understanding the world surrounding me, at least trying to do that through my studies currently. Good reads are golden as well. And I appreciate food very much too. My dream right now is some lazy days at the beach and snorkelling.

Música, películas y libros

I love music, so I listen to very many types of music like electronica, reggae, world music, classical, alternative, and Latvian folk metal. Good reads that make me think I enjoy very much, Remark, Sartre, Hemingway, Dostojevsky. And movies, and series.

Enseña, aprende, comparte

I believe I can teach some fun stuff, but I enjoy learning new things a lot. I can help with basic IT stuff, teach you some programs, if you need a brush up in math, or wanna know more about engineering, sketching basics. Or talk about psychology, I enjoy that too. I can share my impressions on studying in Germany, tell you about Latvia and its wonderful nature and must visit spots! There's plenty!
