HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

In general when I travel it's not so much to see sights and scenary but to get an understanding of the culture. In this way couchsurfing is a fantastic oppertunity to get a peak into the lokal life.
I live in a flatshare where we are three members of couchsurfing.com, so we often have people surfing here.
To prevent double booking one of the others take care of the couchsurfing contact.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've only had good experiences surfing the couches!!! It just surprises me every time how friendly and open people are to their strange guests! I've maid some good friends with whom I still keep in touch. In our house it's always plesant to come home and find the kitchen filled with foreign compagny.

Life and almost everything that is to it. Anthropology really is my main interest. I hope to combeine it with art in some way. I like handcrafts, photography, writing, theatre and dance. At the moment I'm dicking into the old tales and stories from the Faroe Islands. I hope to go there to study these folktales close up!

I resently saw "Gone With the Wind" and was captulated. This film is jus amazing. Everyone should see "Stille Licht" from the Netherlands, all of Lars Von Triers films and "Conwoy" (this was my favorit film as a child, and I wanted to like Kris Kristoffersen, I'm sure you'll want this to after watching it!)
My altime favorite book is "Middlesex" by Jeffery Euginedes. Best album ever: "October Triology" by Thomas Dybdahl.
