About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Mission possible: be a nice host, improve my knowledge about the world and cooking skills
ABOUT ME
WELCOME!!! My name is Katharina, I'm twenty-one and love traveling (like all the other people who share CS). Unfortunately I suffer under a huge lack of time and money, but what is even worse: wanderlust! Bad mixture, that's for sure!
I haven't found a cure yet and I doubt that it's healable... I don't think so. If you have a medicine, just let me know.
Let's talk about the serious stuff: me!
I'm a student and as a result I have to learn now and again, have to visit the readings in the morning and need some time to do my homework. I think that I fit well in the stereotype of a proper and busy German. Sometimes.
But apart from that stereotype picture I love to dance the night away, sleep until noon and don't care about tomorrow. Well, responsibilities are not everything.
Hang out and relax, hold talks from dusk till dawn, fool around or do some sports is also a faible. I'm VERY adjustable.
At the end some adjectives to describe myself in a few words:
tolerant, cheerful, ready to help, spontaneous, humorously and creative.
PHILOSOPHY
There are no strangers, but only friends who haven't met yet. Let's have a good time and try to improve our life, even if it's a tiny step.
And always keep your independence and personal freedom. It's the most precious thing you own.
Interests
(make) Music, snowboarding, living history 1370, drawing, history, pre-Christian cultures, languages, other countries, reading, sports,...
and a good many other things which doesn't come to my mind at the moment.

Music, Movies, and Books
V for Vendetta, Wer früher stirbt ist länger tot, Die fabelhafte Welt der Amélie, The colors of magic, Discworld-novels by Terry Pratchett, Die Bücherdiebin, Chronicles of Narnia, Underworld, Hellsing,... just some of my favorites.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Life itself is a strange thing... I'm able to feel, see, hear, taste and breathe. That's amazing.
Less philosophical, amazing things I've done:
celebrated Beltane on a castle and went fully dressed swimming in Loch Ness (kind of spontaneous thing).
Small awe-inspiring events that happens daily are more important to me.
Teach, Learn, Share
What I'd like to learn: speak Dutch fluently, keep on speaking English, enjoy my life.
What I can teach: show you how to play a bag pipe and some stuff about mediaeval music.
What I can share: the experiences that I already made, my time and company :)
