ABOUT ME

As impossible as writing this section is, the best way I can say it is that I'm still figuring it all out! I love new experiences - positive, challenging, absurd - to live and learn and grow as much as I can. I try to be open-hearted and compassionate, am not take things (and the general nonsense of the world) too seriously.

PHILOSOPHY

Perpetually changing, but at this stage I'm just looking for more connections in any form and absorbing as much knowledge and beauty as possible!

This is a cool way to have authentic experiences in new places, and meet new people. I love the idea of connecting directly with others and being able to share in their lives and homes for a short time.

音乐、电影和书籍

To name just a few... Music: small bands like Lake Street Dive, Lucius, Phox, plus classic older artists like Stevie Wonder, the Beatles, CCR; have a massive love for hip hop like Tribe Called Quest and Talib Kweli; classical music has a special place in my heart; and I'll listen to just about anything new and interesting. Movies: Princess Bride, Pride and Prejudice, Cloud Atlas, Grand Budapest Hotel.. it's hard to categorize what I like! Mostly content that makes you feel something, or makes you think for hours afterwards. Books: currently, things by Brene Brown, Sylvia Plath, Maya Angelou, plus a random collection of others. Namely philosophical/poetic little things!

One of my favorite memories is bungee jumping off of the Victoria Falls bridge in Zambia/Zimbabwe.. Though I'm not quite an adrenaline junkie, I love adventurous sports or activities. Diving in shark cages and climbing mountains are also among my favorites. :)

I have far more questions than answers, but I love to have conversations that get both people towards some greater understanding! I love to talk about travel experiences, random ideas, philosophies, and just about anything else.

Easy-going company, conversation, help with cooking, cleaning, or whatever is needed! I am more of an independent traveler, so if you're hoping to have minimal hosting duties, I'm your girl. Of course any help or suggestions are welcome and appreciated, but I tend to go out and explore solo.
