I create goals and actually aim to achieve them instead of just talking about them. Whether it is planning to swim with wild dolphins, fly in a helicopter above the Grand Canyon or just trying to be a more knowledgeable person.

I want to meet like minded people and I find it can be better to get to know a place when locals tell you about it rather than just reading it in a book.

Interests

I love to travel, one of my favourite places is Italy and Florence in particular. I love the food there and it’s great to sit in a restaurant terrance and have a good Italian meal with a glass (or bottle) of Chianti!

On my travels I eat so much different kind of food from pancake soup in Austria to veal Kebabs in Bosnia and I love snails in Paris - only with lots of garlic and pesto!

Growing up I wanted to be a cross between James Bond and Indiana Jones because they were really adventurous, exciting and super cool.

Eating in restaurants – I love to try new food and when at home (which is rare) I like to eat out at least once a week. However I do love having a night in with cheese and red wine.

I love chatting and talking about travel but I need to have someone who is intelligent to hold a good convocation.

I enjoy learning about History (part of it is my job) I like to hear about all the gory stories from the Romans and the Greek myths. I think it is important to know the past because it makes us understand things in the present.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love music and films!
I really like films that make you think and have an unpredictable ending but I also love adventure films and as a kid I wanted to be a cross between Indiana Jones and James Bond.
I have studied music for years but have put it on the backseat while I travel but I couldn't survive without my Ipod when travelling.

I will definitely have lots of funny stories to tell you! I can talk a lot and tell you lots of fun facts about places in Europe, like: did you know that the Swiss eat more chocolate than any other Country in the world?
I am also alright with a recipe book, I don't get to cook much because I travel so much but when I do I enjoy it.
