Never couchsurfed before, keen to try.

About me, ok. Im from Scotland, have been working as an international primary school teacher for the past 6 years. Living and working in Kuwait, Bangkok and most recently Bilbao.

Life before teaching involved working for a music festival company in the UK (which was bloody great fun, but sadly not sustainable), before that I worked in Morzine in the Frech alps to snowboard everyday (which again was awesome but cleaning toilets wasnt). Still have a passion music and snowboarding, living in Bilbao is awesome as the Pyranees are super close, winter weekends are spent there.

Blibao also has many beaches and a huge surfing community so I am currently learning to surf although its not so easy, esp at 35. But ... persevere katy....

Errrm what else... I am learning Spanish, can manage conversations providing there is not not many other people and they speak relativley slow.

As for having me stay with, I would say I´m well mannered, definatley a social person, enjoy meeting new people. However I am also super independent having lived in many different countries and travelled alot on my own. I seem to be able to make friends easily....ermmm.

Not really sure what else to put here, like I say first time couchsurfing although I did start this profile years ago I never followed through.
