Since finishing my PhD in indigenous rights and education I've been working in London as an environmental researcher. I have ten years experience working in the charity sector and academia, teaching, managing projects and volunteers.

This summer my boyfriend James and I finally decided that life is too short so we must go on the travels we've been talking and dreaming about for years. We both quit our jobs and now can't quite believe that we are now exploring South America!

James has 5 years experience making furniture and art in London, specialising in fine metalwork. He's generally very handy to have around with a good general knowledge of carpentry, construction, art fabrication and bike maintenance. His guitar and mandolin playing skills are an added bonus!

We share a love of the outdoors, wildlife, travel adventures, and good food and music.
