About Me

I'm a proud cat mom of three fur balls (which is, coincidentally, my opener on Tinder) who plays the ukulele, translates Russian poetry to English and believes that kindness and beauty is what will save the world.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

The beauty of us being social creatures is that we can share what we possess, isn't it? Alright, that sounds kinda pretentious, lemme rephrase that.
After reading "The Art of Asking" by Amanda Palmer I figured we should all open up our hearts and homes :) Honestly, I love meeting new people, as cliché as that sounds, would love to "build a network" of beautiful people all over the globe (or slate, if that's what you believe in).

Shows: "The Office" (US), "Peep Show", "Flight of the Conchords", "Pushing Daisies"
Books: "Lolita" by Nabokov, "Novel with Cocaine" by Ageyev, most of what Cecilia Ahern writes.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've managed to make three people fall in love with Berlin ;)

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach you funny words/useful colloquial phrases in Russian and Ukrainian, show you how to play the ukulele and share the secret ingredient of baking.
I would love a linguistic exchange, maybe even some tips on being creative.
Most importantly, I would love to share pet pictures and stories!

What I Can Share with Hosts

Besides endless witty conversations, I'm a pretty good baker and crêpe maker, so if you allow me to use your kitchen, I'll stir up something delicious. Ingredient purchasing is totally on me, as long as you do the dishes afterwards ;)
Plus, if you want, I can bring my ukulele with me, we can play some music together and sing a tune or two.

Countries I’ve Visited
