About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Let's say...to explore the world, find myself and a way to make the world better

ABOUT ME
I've registered here 4 years ago, when I travelled and lived alone, so I have to update information now.
I'm married and we travel together with my husband, Artem. My surname now is Alberti, so everyone asks if I'm Italian or what)) No, I'm not, neither is my husband.
However, we are friendly, open to new things and chatty like Italians can be. :-)

PHILOSOPHY

Find something good in everyone and everything

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

We would be glad to meet people who come to our city and take them around the city or just chat somewhere.
Unfortunatelly, we can offer nothing more than a couch for a couple of days in our room now, but if it suits you, you're welcome.

We would also be happy to stay with hosts during our trips to learn more about the real life of local people, not only the "touristic front side".

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've stayed in Belgium once and had really great hosts.
Never hosted myself unfortunatelly, but would like to do it as soon as our flat is repaired.

Interests

We love travelling, animals and Nature. Love to speak other languages( except my mothertongue Russian I can speak English and Japanese). My husband speaks some English and knows a couple of words in Japanese (we are working on it), but I can always translate.
We love seeing lives of people from other cultures and trying to integrate in it. We have lived and worked for some months in Japan, so intercultural communicationg is not new to us.

Music, Movies, and Books

The Lord of the Rings (both the book and the movies),R. Bach, The House in which...

Nigtwish, the Rasmus, Aria,Keiko Matsui,Serj Tankian, Apocalyptica, Scorpions,...well,basicly good rock and metal ( where there's melody and sense in the lyrics)), various ethnic melodies and instruments and some classical music too.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I have been to Altay mountains and climbed to 3100 meters for 5 hours with a heavy rucksack and finally saw the surrounding mountains...that was amazing!
Together with Artem we have climbed Fuji-san during our BT to Japan while the weather was as nasty as one can imagine, haha, that was more heroic than amazing)

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach Russian/English/some Japanese language, can exchange some experience in photography, make up and painting. My husband knows a lot about robots programming, physics, electronics and so on.
We definitely like sharing good Russian music, cooking, literature, etc.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Well, we'll share as much as we have and help in any way possible.

Countries I’ve Visited

Belgium, Cambodia, Germany, Greece, Japan, United States
