Born in Russia, moved to the UK at the age of 13, finished school and university there, did Erasmus in Berlin for a year and now in my second year of living in Madrid.

I love exploring new places, cultures, architecture and sights, seeing new things, chatting about life and after a few glasses of wine whether aliens really exist :) I would love for my couchsurfing experiences to turn into real friendships.

I think Couchsurfing is a great platform for people travelling on a budget, but also wanting to meet the locals and experience the authenticity of their travel destinations.

Currently, I am trying to figure out what I love doing and what it is I want to do in life, so with all that free time on my hands it is only right to use it for travel.

Musica, film e libri

Music - I listen to everything and anything, depending on my mood, I would say I probably lean towards calmer acoustic sounds.

Movies - action once in a while, comedy, and your typical cheesy rom coms + wine (sorry not sorry)

Books - I like books that can add some substance to one's life ie. art of communication, human psychology etc. However, at the moment am reading Adultery by Paulo Coelho and The Meaning of Things: Applying Philosophy to Life by A.C. Grayling

Camino De Santiago 850 km walk across Spain over 40 days

- would always bring a gift (wine!!) with me (I am Russian, it's a cultural thing for us)
- help around the house
- exchange life stories and experiences
- traditions from my country (not willing to get into political debates about Russia though - I do want to make friends after all)
- engage in interesting conversations
- share my positive and optimistic outlook on life :)
