ABOUT ME

I'm an easy-going, fun-loving, well-traveled individual with a sparkle in my eye. I love to dance like a crazy person as much as I love to relax in quiet contemplation or delve into a deep conversation.

I've been a musician my entire life, trained in classical piano but I also sing and love to experiment with other instruments. At home I have a sitar, didgeredoo, violin, keyboard, theremin, guitar, ukulele, etc. Love it. I love to be creative in all ways.

I've literally just moved to NYC and am taking the NY Real Estate certification course as well as looking for other jobs so I can get on my feet. I'm looking to rent an apartment by September 15th or October 1st, and I need a place to stay in the meantime. I'm currently staying with a friend in Crown Heights but don't want to stay past September 1st.

Interests

I also have a special interest in Vedic Astrology, a system of astrology developed in ancient India as part of the Vedas. It's considered a branch of yoga in many traditions and I love yoga as well. I love eating healthy delicious food.

I've been a vegetable farmer, a waitress, a juice bar person, sold Christmas trees in Queens, NY, and have had a few other interesting jobs as well.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Once I got on a sailboat in Milwaukee with someone I had just met. We went down the rivers and got all the way to Alabama before the boat broke down! Christmas was just a few days away so I bussed home for that, and the boat owner is now in Florida saving funds for a bigger and stronger vessel. Perhaps one day I will join him again and take on the Atlantic Ocean, from Florida to NYC or up through the Great Lakes!
