Overview
About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Traveling around Europe seeking out contemporary and ancient art to experience and research. Enjoying beers with locals and always happy to be on a bicycle.
ABOUT ME
I'm an artist in New York City. I'm currently finishing up my MFA program. I make videos and sculpture and am specifically interested in pushing a feminist agenda through my work. I research mental illness, politics, history, archaeology, and obscure but accomplished women who have been lost to history. When I'm not making art I love to rock climb outside (I climb sport, bouldering and trad!) or sit around debating politics and history with a friend and a cold beer.
PHILOSOPHY
I believe in cooperation and community. In NYC I live with 11 beautiful humans and we share responsibilities, laughs, dinners, games, food, etc.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Between 2009-2011 I lived in cooperative student housing in Isla Vista, CA, USA where we hosted loads of travelers, couch surfers, bands, eccentrics, Europeans, and excellent people all around. I cooked many a meal for a hungry couch surfer.
