Why I’m on Couchsurfing

The general answer is to see the world, but the truth is a trip or holiday is not really such unless you actually get out of your bubble and meet the locals - thats where stories and trips are made. And, locals know all the best places.

As a designer I am inherently creative and love all things designerly - I also have a secret passion for bridges and architecture show me a remarkable feat of human intervention, ingenuity or insanity I'm very likely to find it captivating.

Music, Movies, and Books

As a creative person my music taste is eclectic and vast, put on the radio and lets listen. I watch more movies than I care to admit - recently I enjoyed watching The Imitation Game, Days of Future Past, and The Pretty One.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

During my masters I had the opportunity to track and monitor wild kiwi in Arthur's Pass, NZ. Putting aside the fact our national symbol cant fly it is a phenomenal bird . It is not until you see something in its natural environment that you can truly begin to appreciate it.
