HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I've enjoyed having people staying with me in KL but have yet to stay with other CS users elsewhere though I did get lots of useful advice about Vietnam prior to visiting there.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Have hosted a few times now... Feels great welcoming people to your (new) home and city and being able to help them out (even if I have no sense of direction - you have been warned!!) What a great way to meet new people...

Intereses

I like swimming and dancing (in my own living room or out - it doesn't matter where!), reading and partying, trying new things (though I'm a bit of a wimp!) and eating cake!

Música, películas y libros

Like watching funny films , thrillers and a bit of good old romance!!! Hate horror films! Guitar bands seem to feature mostly on my i-pod but also like dance music - in fact from The Killers, Kylie and The Kings of Leon to just having the radio on in the background, I'm open to listening to anything! Just read another Adele Parks book and loved it! Also like travel books.

Just amazed myself recently by cooking for friends and made the most delicious thai style salmon fishcakes..
you'll need about 8 potatoes boiled then mashed, 2 filleted pieces of fresh salmon poached, 2 tablespoons of mayonnaise, a chopped red chilli (don't rub it into your eyes after cutting like I did!!), some fresh coriander and a squeeze of lemon - mix together (gently with the salmon) and on a flour-dusted surface mould into fishcakes (should make 8 good-sized cakes) then dip in egg and breadcrumbs which have dried coriander and chilli mixed in. Can be stored in the fridge until needed then gently fry in olive oil (about 4 minutes each side) when needed. Serve with rocket and sweet chilli sauce - enjoy! Yum!
