Hi CS friends ! I am a mechanical engineer who is currently working and living in Istanbul. I lived in USA for two years while doing my master's degree in Carnegie Mellon University and got back to Istanbul at the end of june 14. I am working on weekdays but definitely can host and show you guys around on weekends. You can stay at my home in weekdays as well but I would go to work in the mornings. For those of you who would like to stay in heart of Istanbul, I might not be the best choice. Where I am living in Istanbul is not quiet close to downtown. My home is in Pendik. Thats why i drive to kadikoy on weekends if I wanna go to taksim/besiktas etc.. to the places worth to visit.
