About Me
I am curious and optimistic and I love apples and aubergines.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
To be honest, I started with Couchsurfing because it is a cheap way to spend the night in a place. However, after several couchsurfing experiences I realized there is much more to it. It is a way to meet interesting, remarkable and wonderful people from all over the world, and it offers a window into an unfamiliar and different life, and way of living for a number of days.
Also, during a big road trip all over North America, where I spend most nights couchsurfing, I felt almost uncomfortable from all the kindness we were receiving from the people we were staying with (going beyond a simple couch to crash on). And I strongly wanted to give something back. But instead of a direct reciprocation, I decided to become a more active part of the couchsurfing community: I benefit from people's generosity when I am travelling and I reciprocate by offering the same to other travelers.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Together with a great friend we did a road trip of three months, starting in Chicago, buying a car in Detroit, driving down the east coast, along the southern border, and up the west coast, selling the car in San Francisco, and taking a 60-hour train back to Chicago. We saw the most beautiful nature, met the most wonderful people, and experienced days filled with adventure.
