ABOUT ME

I am a lover of museums, historic buildings, culture, and meeting new people. I am in my mid 30's so the partying ways are not something I am into but I do love good food and hanging out with new friends. Physically, I am super tall (6 ft), super pale, and a bit silly.
I strongly believe in being respectful of the country I am in, the people that I meet, and the places that I stay.

PHILOSOPHY

I strongly believe that travel inspires us to be better people and live our lives in a global manner. We should all have friends throughout the world and live like a local everywhere we go.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

My Mother is going to be having a hip replacement so I will not be able to host anyone for the next 6-8 months while she is recuperating.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have only crashed on the couches of friends but I am looking forward to my first Couchsurfing experience.

I am obsessed with reading! I enjoy all genres of books and am almost always reading something.
Music is an extremely important part of my life as both my father and grandfather were musicians. This is another area where I enjoy a variety of styles from pop to hip hop/rap to oldies to country.

Every time the plane hits down in a European city it is like every Christmas, Birthday, and amazing moment in life, flood into my heart. I never feel more alive and true as when I am there and therefore I do everything in my power to be there as much a possible. I can vividly remember the rolling green hills of Ireland, the view from the gardens of the Pitti Palace, the energy of London, the architecture of Paris, and the cold wind in my face while traveling down the Rhine River. I sincerely love Europe.

I am afraid that I do not know what I should put here. I can always help people practice their English which I am more then happy to do. I have volunteered at multiple zoos so I am able to take care of animals, large and small. Travel has been my obsession with a particular interest in Europe so I know a bit about trip planning. I will expand this section as new experiences come about.
