I am fairly outgoing, although in large groups of people that I don't know I can be a little shy. I also love to try new things. I have been sand boarding , white-water rafting in the Rocky Mountains, love baseball games and of course traveling! I have studied abroad in Costa Rica, volunteered at an orphanage in the Dominican Republic for four summers....and will be backpacking through Europe with my younger sister in May (she is currently studying in Lithuania). I love seeing the less "touristy" parts of a place.

If I had to surmise myself in three words I would say caring, fun, and motivated.

I have a love of travel and because I am newly out of college, I would much prefer spending money on experiences when I am traveling, rather than where I am sleeping.

I am also so fascinated with cultures different form my own (I work with a good number of international students in my job) and love getting to know people from different parts of the world. I think this is a great opportunity to do just that.

Intereses

I spend a lot of time reading. I enjoy spending time outdoors...hiking, camping, etc. I also box. I am studying Spanish again because I've gotten pretty rusty. I try to keep up-to-date on current events throughout the world...I like to think of myself as a humanitarian in training.

You've probably noticed that my interests are all over the place, because as I mentioned I am always wanting to try different things. I have a genuinely deep love of learning...and it doesn't really matter what it is that I'm learning.

Finally, I still love going out and having a good time...bring on the fiesta!
