I love to travel and be on the road! I spent the last year as a missionary/volunteer all over the world. I have worked everywhere from major cities like Phnom Penh, Cambodia, to Indian villages that have never seen Caucasians before.

I want to experience as many countries and culture as I can before settling down.

I have a Bachelor's Degree in Behavioral Science and am hoping to get my Master's Degree in technical writing.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I have almost always lived with hosts when I travel, and I love getting the opportunity to meet people and see culture in a more genuine way. I can't imagine traveling any differently!

Interests

I LOVE reading. Reading will always be my number one. I love hearing stories, telling jokes, and learning about cultures.

I enjoy going on adventures like bamboo rafting of cliff jumping, but when I am visiting a new place I am more interested in the history, art, and culture and would rather see an old building than go dune buggy riding.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love alternative/folk music, such as Of Monster and Men and the Civil Wars. I love classical and bluegrass and classic rock as well. I love The Who, The Beatles, Simon and Garfunkel, and Van Morrison.

I love so many books, but right now I'm into Walter Moers.

I love Wes Anderson movies! I think Moonrise Kingdom (by Wes Anderson) is one of my favorite movies of all time. Also The Secret Life of Walter Mitty.
