Recently coming off a 7 month stint in India. I've been working for a grassroots development NGO in Tamil Nadu and am now making my way back home to Alaska, with a few stops on the way!

Nothing better than sharing and showing our homes to those who are not familiar. It's also a great way to make traveling a possibility for many people, and more importantly provides an authentic window into the real rhythm of local life.

Sucker for good folk, bluegrass or strong vocally led performers (think Johnny Flynn) . Mellow out with FKJ, Noembe or any downtune electro. Blues&Jazz. Love my powerhouse ladies like Florence & The Machine, Beyoncé, Amy Winehouse. Can't forget Motown classics from the 60's , funky rhythms from the 70's or upbeat ballads of the 80's. Always get down to some Tribe Like Quest, Notorious and Outkast.
