I'm currently working in Philly public schools as an SLP, playing my ukulele, and gathering up pretty leaves and seeds. I take delight in simple things, like coziness on cold days, bodies of water, and snowfall. I love to create: tattoo designs, ridiculously delicious breakfast, theories, beautiful living spaces.

Interests

I bike, read, rock climb, dance, carve linoleum to make prints, write, garden, sew, take photographs, hike, sing, and bake. I'm interested in learning about biology, intersectional feminism, psychology, sociology, history, and music. I want to know about your ideas and thought projects, all the things you can't stop thinking about.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: Lyrics catch my attention first, and particularly moving or effortlessly beautiful ones will usually hook me. I notice rhythm next; I love to dance.

Reading/Books: Most everything by Rumi, e.e. cummings, Pablo Neruda, and Mallory Ortberg. I am a huge bookworm, but not a lover of long lists, so I'll keep this short.

Movies: The movies that stay with me have unique visual artistry, but I can also get into any movie that's just plain entertaining. Honestly I watch more TV than movies! I just finished the first season of Master of None and loved it.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I was self-taught in my preteen and teenage years. It was kind of like homeschooling, but with more autonomy and traveling. Ask me about it in person!

Teach, Learn, Share

I know a lot about speech, language, voice, swallowing, and hearing. So if you wanna nerd out about human communication, I'm your girl.

I'm trained as a doula and I always want to learn more about birth. I will happily teach you to lindy hop, charleston, balboa, or blues dance. I would love to learn to Argentine tango, snowboard, and do acroyoga.
