About Me
ABOUT ME
I am a queerlady living in Chicago working as a film producer and picking up other odd jobs in the arts. I am currently traveling through Europe with my bestie of 15 years, Maura. We are WWOOFing, and cityhopping our way around France, Spain, Portugal, Germany, the Netherlands, and Scotland for 3.5 months. We love meeting rad people from around the world and seeing cities in unusual ways.

Music, Movies, and Books
I. Love. Movies. My love ranges far and wide from The Science of Sleep, to The Bourne Series, to My Sweet Pepper Land.
Sometimes I can't remember any book I've ever read so I will just list the last three: Isabel Allende's House of Spirits, Isaac Bashevis Singer's The Slave, and Anne Carson's Autobiography of Red.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I studied abroad in Senegal for four months and did research on lesbian communities in Senegal. Very interesting, very difficult work.
Teach, Learn, Share
I love learning hand skills and will happily teach the ones I know: bookbinding, radical embroidery, knitting, painting, drawing, cooking, using an axe, and basic carpentry.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I love cooking and am happy to prepare feasts for my hosts (I grew up Jewish so tend to make food for 12 by default). I am also quite good at cleaning up after myself.
Countries I’ve Visited
Austria, Belgium, Brazil, Canada, Czech Republic, France, Germany, Guatemala, Hungary, Japan, Luxembourg, Mexico, Mongolia, Netherlands, New Zealand, Poland, Portugal, Senegal, South Korea, Spain, Taiwan, Thailand
