About Me
PHILOSOPHY
"Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things you didn't do than by the ones you did do. So, throw off the bowlines. Sail away from the safe harbor. Catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore. Dream. Discover." - Mark Twain
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
My first couchsurfing experience was in spring 2013 when I traveled to Valparaiso, Chile. My friend and I stayed in a house with 10 or so people and they made us feel right at home. Within the first hour, we were already eating a homemade lunch with them. Then, that night, the host took us out to Vina del Mar for a pub crawl she leads where we met people from literally all over the world. The next night, they hosted a going away party for a roommate. I've never felt more at home. It was the best first couchsurfing experience I could have had.
