Overview
About Me
I am about to embark on a trip to Australia and I plan to be there for about a year. During that time I'd really like to make some new friends, and get to see things that I might not see without that local suggestion. I am pet-friendly - have a cat and dog at home - and will be bringing my ukulele. Don't worry though, I won't be having late night jam sessions (although I do take requests sometimes, so let me know your favourite song and I'll try to learn it!)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Meeting new people, and learning all about the country that I plan to call home for the next few months!
Interests
I love music in all its forms, love live theatre and anything on the big or small screen (I'm a bit of a movie nerd). I also love being active - I play soccer, go hiking in the mountains when I'm home, workout when I can and generally like keeping myself busy. I also enjoy baking, so if cookies are your thing I might be convinced (pretty easily) to make up a batch of my homemade oreos!

Music, Movies, and Books
I generally listen to folk / pop/ alternative music, but I love some bits and pieces of almost all genres. I even enjoy country - although I won't make you listen to it if you don't
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I used to be a can-can dancer... true story.
Teach, Learn, Share
Teach - music is my language
Learn - anything and everything!
Share - Stories, music, food (I make a mean lasagna)
What I Can Share with Hosts
Baking, music, and general Canadian charm. I'm pretty good at card games (although not poker... I have the WORST poker face) and I'm a tidy guest. I promise to abide by the campsite rule - leaving your home in the same or better shape than I found it - so you won't have to be cleaning up after I leave.
