ABOUT ME

Well, I just returned home from a mini excursion in my beastly van. If I had the money, I'd keep going till I drove off the end of the Earth! But I don't. Now that I'm home I'm enjoying the company of my friends and family, local rock n roll shows, whiskey and beer, contributing to the Rotting Apple Zine, playing outside, and in general trying participate in the movements happening round the valley, and to make the most of my time, when not working at my awesome new job (mmm Asian food!!).

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Just had the best time surfing for about 3 months, and I'd love to host, but have no home of my own. So for now I hope to meet up with fellow travelers and get my fix in smaller doses.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I spent 3 months surfing, and it was absolutely wonderful!! I hope to do it again and again, as well as see the other side and host some people!!

Interests

Live music, sharing music (and books) with others and discovering new bands, dancing, meeting new people and forming friendships, cheese, tasting new foods, beer sampling at breweries, reading, writing, bonfires, off roading, hiking, delicious greens, bbq, camping, whiskey, swimming, story swapping, wine, seeing the stars, cities at night, history, bar games (darts, skee ball, shuffle board, etc), board games, playing sports (in non-competitive ways), sledding, watching movies while eating popcorn, plus I'm sure there's lots of other things I'd love doing- I just don't know them yet!

Music, Movies, and Books

This really could go on forever, as I just love music and reading so very much!! I try to stay open-minded and give everything a chance. But, I prefer music that rocks- punk rock, metal, folk/ folk rock, oldies, classic rock, rockabilly, psychobilly, one-man-bands, street music, reggae, bluegrass, oh jeez really a lot a lot. Books, I'm not even going to try. I'll read almost anything, and like nearly as much!!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The best things I've ever done have been the friendships I've forged, sometimes with the most unlikely of people. They are what make my life amazing. I've gone skydiving twice. Open to new amazing things to see or do!!

Teach, Learn, Share

I've never stuck with anything long enough to be truly skilled. I'm great at customer service! haha. I know some basic steps to a few different dances....erm... I take pleasure in sharing the things that make me feel good (music, books, places, introducing people, etc). I pick up on things quick, and am always wanting to learn new things!
