I actually hate beings tourist. I really don’t like traveling for just a week to a new place. But I LOVE getting immersed in new cultures and connecting with people through new adventures. So CS serves me well in that respect.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

To travel the way that fuels me - find people to teach me how to play cricket or show me a random and amazing historical/cultural gem that you’ll never find in a tourist book - instead of visiting museums and monuments without context.

If/when I’m home, my version of hosting would be sharing with you the swimming hole where the river is deep enough to jump off the bridge, inviting you to a local ‚beer league‘ softball game, or introducing you to the local baker that you can’t find on Uber Eats.
