I'm soon-to-be a university graduate! I studied biology in my undergrad. I love love love learning and I don't think I will ever stop (yes, I'm a nerd). I have a very diverse interest (from art and music to philosophy).

I initially had everything sorted out for pursuing Masters in developmental neurobiology but I decided to decline the offer last-minute because I realized that now is the perfect time to learn things that I won't learn from a book.

So here I am, putting my well-planned life on hold, ready for some adventure!!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love experiencing different cultures, connecting with people, and living like a local. My goal is to be that person who is full of stories and life experiences. So I thought Couchsurfing would be the perfect platform for that.

Music, Movies, and Books

MUSIC
- I love any songs groovy (jazz, bossa nova, R&B, alternative) and classical.
- I listen to basically everything but heavy metal and country (sorry for country fans out there)
- Some of my favourite artists/bands are: Daniel Caesar, Honne, Bruno Major, Mac Ayres, DEAN, Zion.T, Billie Marten, The Sweeplings, Ed Sheeran, Sam Smith.

MOVIES/SHOWS
- I love me some feel-good movies/shows like This is Us, About Time, Under the Tuscan Sun, Last Holiday, The Theory of Everything, Letters to Juliet
- I also enjoy Sci-Fi movies and shows like Black Mirror, Doctor Strange
- Others: Sherlock Holmes (with Benedict Cumberbatch), Downton Abbey

BOOKS
- Some fictions I enjoyed: The Alchemist, Tuesdays with Morrie, Then There Were None, The Kite Runner
- Some non-fiction I enjoyed: When Life Becomes Air, Gifted Hands

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I held an "Art in the Garden" event where students and community members came and created art in a garden, inspired by nature around them. The event raised enough funds to provide two elementary school art classes.
