I am a chemical engineering graduate and currently a consultant in a global consulting firm. For the last 3 years, I took every opportunity and travelled to places. I believe to travel is to learn. And I am who I am now only as my experiences continuously redefines me. I learned the most not in the school or anywhere else, but on the road. I am proud to be known by my courage to step out of my comfort zone and travel.

I am very much into photography and cinematography. I am not a professional but I enjoy it as a hobby. I enjoy taking photos and shooting some short artistic clips during travels, and I think of them as my travel diary.

As long as I can find time to myself, I like reading philosophy. I think it is a great way to refresh yourself and get lost in own thoughts. After traveling, philosophy is my second best for learning things and satisfying my curiosity in general.

Por qué estoy en Couchsurfing

Before then, I didn't have any experiences abroad. I discovered my passion for traveling and did everything I could to make my dream come true. Then, I became a backpacker and discovered this amazing world right outside my comfort zone. I took every risk that I faced thinking that I was capable of overcoming anything. During my travels, I volunteered, I hitchhiked, I couchsurfed, I did tablediving, I traveled on budget and I traveled without a single penny in my pocket. I met so many amazing people and shared moments.

Now, I am settling down in Istanbul, having a temporary but compulsory break from traveling. This is my time to pay back to this community.

I made by travels possible thanks to couchsurfing, hitchhiking and workaway. And so I met wonderful people, and I can easily say that every single one of them taught me something. I wouldn't get to know any of these people if I did not leave my comfort zone. Life is not the same when you are on the road and I believe that every individual you meet along the road shares a value and some wisdom with you.
