Music:
My interests range from classical (Mozart, Beethoven, Borodin, Rimsky-Korsakov) to classic rock (Pink Floyd, The Beatles, The Doors) to hard/alternative/progressive rock (Metallica, The Mars Volta, Nirvana) to indie rock (Metric, Santigold,Camera Obscura, the bird and the bee) to J-rock/pop (MUCC, Miyavi, The Pillows, Ayumi Hamasaki, Kagrra,) to various techno/electronica music, swing, and big band.

Some of my favorite authors include D.H. Lawrence, Elizabeth Peters, Jane Austen, the Bronte sisters, Anne McCaffrey, Michael Cunningham, Murakami, and many others.
