Hi there,

My Fiance (Aimee Gilchrist) and I are traveling around Europe from August 2018, based in UK (with all the appropriate visas!). We are both in our Late 20's and are a quiet and considerate couple. We both have good jobs here in New Zealand but it's time to take a break from all that and explore the world for a while.

We're both non-smokers. We aren't the late night party type, however do enjoy a nice drink now and again. Both animal lovers so happy to stay with pets.

Couch surfing sounds like a great way to meet locals and get some insider advice and experience from those that know the areas best!

While we have left our apartment and are traveling around we won't be able to host, however we'd love to host guests in future once we're back in New Zealand and have settled down.

Musik, Filme und Bücher

Music wise we're happy to listen to anything. I have a preference towards Rock while my Aimee is more into the latest pop hits.

We love horror movies, although anything with a good story is good. Can't go wrong with a good comedy now and again either.

As for books, I like Thriller/Mystery/Adventure etc. Think Sigma Force or the Robert Langdom series.

Eine tolle Erfahrung, die ich gemacht habe

We have traveled a decent amount throughout our side of the world. Including all over New Zealand, Most main centers in Australia/Great Barrier Reef, Fiji, Niue Thailand, Malaysia as well as America (LA/NY/Florida).

Our favourite moments were watching the ball drop on New Years Eve (2015/16) in Times Square, visiting Disney World in Floria (Disneyland in Paris is definitely on our to-do-list!), and swimming with sharks on the Great Barrier Reef!

We are quiet (especially when first meeting people) but friendly. We are very respectful of people's lives and property. We tidy up after ourselves and more than happy to help you out with your home as well, whether it's a bit of cleaning, a bit of DIY or even walking your dog etc!
