My name is Kazimieras, I am 22yo, 3rd year student of medicine in University of Vilnius. I was born in Panevezys, Lithuania and I've been living there my whole life. Right now, during my studies, I live in Vilnius in a rented flat (near the city center) with one of my school year classmates - Mantas. We have quite big circle of friends with whom I and my flatmates spend most of our days during the free time doing many activities: from watching movies and playing card games to traveling, doing sports, etc. I also have a older brother Domas and 3 cousins. All 5 of us are very close, we keep close relationship and spend quite much time together.
During my free time I really like to watch movies, go for a walk somewhere in the city or outside it, in the forest. While the weather is still good I often ride bike or roller skates. I also do sports: football (like to play and watch it on TV), basketball (really not good at it :D), running, orienteering (running but with a map and compass), some gymnastics, volleyball, tennis. And don't forget parties... I and my friends sometimes go partying of course. While the weather is not that good we like to play some games on Xbox: FIFA or NBA the most time. We also have a team in so called "Brain battle" event (in Lithuanian it sounds "Protú mūšis").
During my life I attended chess lessons (for about 7yrs) and orienteering sport training lessons (for about 12yrs already and still doing it). Still have some things that I would love to learn from basics, for example dancing (lindy hop and etc.) and playing the piano or guitar also Spanish, German languages.
My passion right now is travelling, hiking somewhere around in new or old places. Trying to do some solo travelling and see if I am strong, self-confident and brave person to do travelling on my own, without any friends that I know.

Warum ich bei Couchsurfing bin

A few days ago I and my flatmates talked about couch surfing and its opportunities. We decided that couch surfing is a perfect way to meet many people from all around the world, get some knowledge about their culture, their traditions and talk about what life is in different places of the world. And, of course, to expand my view, get new experience from others and share my own with others.

Musik, Filme und Bücher

I listen to various kinds of music, depends on situation and mood. The least liked music for me is rap, though I like to listen to it sometimes.
I watch many different style movies. I mostly like movies that has an idea and makes me think about something after watching it, also movies that are difficult to guess (the events, plot) and tricky. Some good movies for me are: La La Land, Shutter Island, Birdman, The Shawshank Redemption, Godfather, Good Will Hunting, Eternal sunshine of the spotless mind, The best offer, The Game, Now You see me, Marvel and DC comics movies and many many more.

Eine tolle Erfahrung, die ich gemacht habe

Did a 9hours long multi-sport competition (orienteering, running, mountain-biking, swimming, alpinism, various interesting and hard tasks and brain teasers, kayaking) with my cousin in 2015. Took the longest distance (black course) and spent 9hours and 7 minutes in the course.

Lehren, lernen, teilen

I still want to improve my English speaking skills and learn about different cultures, different lifestyles in various countries. Spanish and German skills too. I'll try to teach the same about my country and introduce to Vilnius: its day and night life.

I can share everything You need! From interesting talks and walks in around the city to food and etc. I will just try to adapt to a person's lifestyle and share as much as I can.
