À propos de moi

CURRENT MISSION

Attain enlightenment and do serious scientific research into the psychology of said phenomena.

ABOUT ME

I'm a young ex-actor, ex-clinical psychology student and sporadic facial hair cultivator - currently working as a freelance translator and Norwegian teacher. I enjoy reading, writing, meditating, doing martial arts [judo, taekwondo, aikido], playing video games and analysing the esoteric symbolism of pop culture.

PHILOSOPHY

To generalise, I'm a Nietzsche-Epicurean Buddhist who is okay with the term God, in a Brahma, universal aspect of reality beyond description, sort of way. If you'd like to know more, I'll be happy to spend a few hours discussing it with you. People seem to enjoy that, and so do I.

Pourquoi je suis sur Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Offering to take people around town is the most I can do, as I live with my parents. So, for now, all I can do is enjoy and share in the hospitality of others.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

A fair bit, in London, Paris and Tokyo, including:
Three days with Ced Montorgueil in Paris. He showed me its highlights on his scooter (including Montmartre, the Eiffel tower and an incredible ice cream shop), got drunk and had a generally wonderful time.
Two days of wine, comfy beds and good conversation with Asia in London.
A week of every-day drinking parties with Tsubasa in Tokyo.
A week of cardboard cups, delicious gyoza and the amazing Ryota, also in Tokyo.

Centres d'intérêt

Music, mnemonics, movies, taekwon-do, judo, art, video games, guitar and bass, learning Japanese, writing, meditating.
