Hello! My name is Katie. I'm 27 years old. I love love traveling and new experiences / adventures. My favorite traveling experience thus far was taking a 14 day cruise from Panama to Portugal. I met the greatest people.

I want to travel to South America next and am slowly working my way to visiting all the U.S states.

I've never used Coach surfing before, but I did host travelers on my couch for two years through Air Bnb. I definitely have some reservations about doing it myself, but I've heard some great things through friends and think it could be an awesome experience :)

I love being in nature. I'm a very active person and love going for walks. I swim too. Usually I swim at the local YMCA with all the old people. It's great. I love it.

I don't speak Spanish, but I am trying to learn.

I also love going to new and different restaurants/bars and trying local craft beer.

I try to read 2 books a month. Recently I read a book written by the mother of one of the columbine shooters and I couldn't stop talking about it, because it was so intriguing from a mental health perspective.

Every time I've come home from a backpacking trip and upload all my photos, I realize 99% of them are of animals.
