I'm a very driven, passionate and hard working filmmaker, wife and mother. I've seen a few things in my past 31 years, some fantastic, others not so great. I enjoy life and try my utmost to live it to the fullest, hence why I never sleep...

Travelling is a part of my constitution, a part of who I am, just like swing and jazz music and oyster eating :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

So far I haven't hosted yet, but later this year, when settled in to our new house, I intend to get that ball rolling. Right now I'll be looking for couches to stay on while travelling, mainly due to my work in film.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

None yet, but I can't wait to make my first couchsurfing experience!

Music, Movies, and Books

Movies: Kramer vs Kramer, Manhattan, The Help, Sleepless in Seattle, When Harry met Sally, Love Actually, No Country for Old Men, Little Miss Sunshine, Juno, The Dark Knight trilogy.

Music: Jazz, classical, blues, swing, 60-70's rock, country - a little bit of everything.

Books: Eckhart Tolle, general yoga-teachings, biographies of filmmakers.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I paraglided last year in Byron Bay, totally on a whim. It was a very unexpected, but fantastic experience.

While on safari in Tanzania - lions and elephants in their natural habitat in Africa. Wow!

Stayed at the Chenrezig Institute in the mountains in QLD, Australia. What an incredible weekend of reflection and a quite retreat, learning from the Buddhist monks who are permanent residents there. A sublimely spiritual and beautiful place.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can speak a few languages and don't mind sharing my knowledge. I love cooking and sharing a glass of wine while I do so :)
