New to Spain and new to the Couch life! I am currently an aupair for a family near Madrid for the summer and I have weekends off to explore and discover. This is my first time traveling alone and I made a Facebook and Surf profile in hopes of meeting new people. So far I am loving it. Volunteered for a Global Water Brigade in Nicaragua last summer. Helped build a water supply tank to service 80 families in the town of La Corneta 💦

I love walking the streets in a new city. Turning the corners and passing through the little alley ways to find the hidden gems. You never know what you're gonna find or where you'll end up. I think that's how you get to really know a place. You can't find it in a tourist guide book. You just feel it out
