About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Encouraging a better understanding of why sharing is better than demands for payment.

ABOUT ME

I'm 44 years old, currently traveling the United States with other Christian missionaries.

I enjoy recreational jogging, table tennis, guitar, video/image editing, and philosophy.

I have a lot of experience living with other people and fitting in with a wide variety of personalities.

PHILOSOPHY

Everyone needs help sometimes. If we look hard enough, we will eventually see who needs it the most.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I'm a full time traveler so I mostly surf. I try to be helpful, courteous and inspiring to those I share a living space with.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've been couch surfing for the past twenty years. Mostly, I would couchsurf through word-of-mouth or through a network of friends. Sometimes I would stay for months (or even years if I enjoyed the program which the hosts were involved in) and sometimes I would stay for a few days at a time.

Moving from place to place can be a bit exhausting at times, but I enjoy meeting new people so it's worth it.

Music, Movies, and Books

I like comedies, thrillers and mysteries. Sci-fi/fantasy books are my preferred choice for reading but I sometimes enjoy other types of novels. I enjoy a large variety of music though grungy rock is my favorite. Most of the time my interest in music depends on my mood.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I think the most amazing thing I've seen isn't any particular incident or action, but the consistant, little things that people do to help one another over days and months and years.

Being a hero for a moment is a good thing, but pushing through year after year with the little things is a kind of heroics that is rarely appreciated, even by the people who are the ones performing the actions.

Teach, Learn, Share

We can't help everyone all the time. Do the best you can with what you have and that is good enough.

What I Can Share with Hosts
