I made my first big trip by myself, but now need to finish my Master's Degree before I can make any more trips.

PHILOSOPHY

I think that life is a series of amazing events that can astound you, perplex you, and leave you wondering how you got from point A to point B while screwing up so much along the way, while having all mystically work out. It's best to just buy the ticket and take the ride.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Right now I don't have a couch, though as soon as I settle anywhere the couch is gonna be the first purchase... and as soon as I get another place where I can sleep it'll be open.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Mainly it's been crashing at my best friends place back where I live... My friend just moved in with his girlfriend so she didn't know that me crashing at my friends place was a normal thing, so I wake up to her screaming "WHO ARE YOU?" one morning. One thing that will wake you up quicker then coffee.

Music, Getting more into literature and the other art forms.
Sustainable development, water, engineering infrastructure (hell yea I'm that cool, :P )
Trying anything out for the first time (Sometimes I'm good, sometimes I'm crap, but I always learn something)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Tribe Called Quest played the Rock The Bells festival in Toronto.... Killed their set... Everybody starts walking out... and then the bassline for "Can I Kick It?" starts playing and 5000 people run back into the room and it's pure mayhem for the next 4 minutes and 23 seconds.

I worked at a winery in Southern Australia for 4 months and every morning walked out of my wine testing lab to scenery that looked like it was right out of Lord of the Rings (I know it's New Zealand, but it was still good scenery... Great people in South Australia too)

Teach, Learn, Share

I have basic guitar skills and can give pretty decent beginner lessons. Most of my friends are artists and am a very decent collaborator who can provide solid constructive input in any piece... Musical, writing, or drawing.
