ABOUT ME

At the moment I am taking some time to relax and explore by traveling for several months. I graduated this year and I want to go experience new cultures and new people. I would love to meet up or be given tips on places to go and things to see.

I have always been a very active person and I hope to go on some good bike rides during my travels and hike in many locations. I have followed European football games and news for the past few years and am always up for a good chat about sports.

I am excited to try new foods and new things so I am up for anything.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I am new to the Couch Surfing community but I have definitely crashed on my share of couches and floors while traveling with various sports teams. I find carpeted floors particularly comfortable.

Interests

Being outdoors makes me feel great so I love being active outside. Hanging out at the pub with a pint and watching a game is also always a good time for me. I love to talk and learn about just about any field of science or arts.

I love to build things and work with my hands. I have been a potter for 8 years and I work on my own potters wheel making all kinds of pieces.

Exploring and experiencing new scenery is something that amazes me so I am trying to take in whatever I can.

Music, Movies, and Books

I am a sucker for all movies.

My main source of music is classic rock, although I enjoy it in all its forms, such as folk, some alternative and indie music (whatever that means), jazz, classical, and many other genres.

In no particular order I enjoy Hitchhiker's Guide, His Dark Materials and HP series, The Kite Runner, How Soccer Explains the World, Three Cups of Tea, 1984

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Got caught in a snowstorm in the alps and slept through the night, only to awaken to a foot and a half of fresh snow on our tent before hiking down.

If you come to my home when I return from traveling, I can teach you how to throw pots on the wheel from just a ball of clay.
