My name is Keba and I'm a singer/songwriter originally from Trinidad & Tobago and currently residing in Miami, FL, USA. I love to smile, sing, dance, eat and drink HOT CHOCOLATE! I'm very easy going like most islanders. I don't smoke or drink because it is bad for my voice. I'm new to couch surfer and currently on a tour of Europe. My guitarist and I are independent musicians and this year we decided to book our own shows in France and London. Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm brand new to CS but I am planning to travel more now that I quit my day job to become a full-time musician. To begin, I'm exploring Europe with my guitarist Erik Nunez this summer and we hope to do it again each year and continue adding countries/cities to our route. We'd like to make new friends in the cities we visit and enjoy a more interesting experience than the typical tourist/hotel norm. We're professional and respectful. and also very friendly and happy. :)

Interests

Music is my passion. I love to sing the soulful oldies by artists such as Whitney Houston, Prince and Stevie Wonder. However the music I listen to is pretty eclectic . Some of my favorites include: Alabama Shakes, Kimbra, Lake Street Dive, Feist , Ingrid Michaelson and Amy Winehouse. A true island girl, my favorite place to visit is the beach. I also enjoy trying new foods. I love traveling and I hope to do it more through my music.
