Hi, I Brazilian and I am spending one year as exchange student here in US. I love travelling so I am trying to visit as many places as I can during this year. I speak Portuguese, English and I am able to understand Spanish (I speak Spanish poorly). I am also fluent in Brazilian Sign Language. I am going to spend the Summer in California and after that I am going back to Brazil.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Because I have just one year to visit as many places as I can with a short budget. Couchsurfing is also a opportunity to know not only the touristic places, but to have a view of the lifestyle of the people who live there and learn from the locals. It is also an opportunity to share a little bit of my culture and my country.

Interests

I study Civil Engineering and I love learning about construction and technologies. As a hobby, I study Brazilian Sign Language and it is something I am really proud of. I like reading and hang out with friends.
When travelling, I like to visit historic and natural beauties as well as learn about the culture of the place.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love Brazilian music, especially gospel, forró and bossa nova.
I love reading all kind of books, but I prefer the romantics and the fantasies.
I like movies that make me feel happy, but sometimes a thriller movie catch my attention.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I would love to share cultural information and learn about it. I am not really good cook, but I can make some Brazilian desserts and help with anything you need on kitchen. I can also help cleaning.
