I am a full time student here on Vancouver Island, and a first time traveler. I have always wanted to see the world and finally booked my flight. I am very excited to meet new, awesome people and share new experiences. I am always up for an adventure and love stepping outside of my comfort zone. I also have a beautiful dog who comes on all of my local adventures with me, who I will miss very much while I'm gone.

My cousin travelled through Europe last year and had an incredible time couch surfing. He spoke very highly of the people he met and the experiences he would not have had if it wasn't for couch surfing.

I love being active and experiencing new things! I love the outdoors and unusual sports. I am an avid rock climber and really enjoy hiking. Last year I made an effort to climb a mountain every week (not a new one every time). I love quading, skiing, bungee jumping, any kind of adventure, and will always be up for exploring the nightlife.

I love almost all music! I played the violin for 9 years, the guitar briefly, drums for 1 year, piano for two and the trumpet for three, so I have a very broad appreciation for music. I don't watch many movies but one of my favourites is Pulp Fiction and my favourite actor is Leonardo Dicaprio. I love true story books. Two that stand out to me are Into thin air and Shantaram. If you have not read them, I highly recommend them both.

If I had to pick only one thing, I would have to say the most amazing experience of my life was skydiving. There's nothing like jumping out of a plane.

The best thing I can offer is my kindness. I am very fun and polite. I will show my gratitude and appreciation in any way I can. I am not much of a chef but I am quite good at breakfast.
