About Me

Available for emergency hosting if you’re affected by the fires in Boulder County.

CURRENT MISSION
Making the world smaller and more friendly.

being a digital nomad

ABOUT ME
I spend a couple months a year volunteering with refugees (Greece, Mexico). I also travel for work and fun.

Looking to meetup with other travellers and for local events and activities, I travel a lot for work and pleasure and would rather not spend the evening sitting in my hotel room. I enjoy going out for live music, dinner, board games, hockey, or anything on the water (preferably without a motor), especially sailing and paddleboarding.

I play ice hockey, science nerd and I'm very interested in sustainability and green building. I like meeting new interesting people.

PHILOSOPHY

We are all on this rock and borders only push us apart.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I enjoy hosting people at my house, and acting as a tour guide. I often have time to take guests in to the mountains or city.

I plan on attending some local events, but they rarely line up with my schedule. I also like motorcycle trips, and try to meet new couch surfers when I travel.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I travel a lot for work, and I use hangouts to meet new people when I do. Athens, Barcelona, Hawaii, Copenhagen, Madrid...

I traveled to Portland, OR, by motorcycle, and went sailing on the Columbia River with a couchsurfer.

I traveled from Madison WI to New Orleans LA, and then home on my motorcycle, I stayed with a couple couchsurfers and met several more for coffee and to explore their city. I have also hosted several people at my house.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Just one? I spent 4 weeks volunteering at a refugee camp in Greece. I've rafted the Grand Canyon. I spent a month in Venezuala, three weeks on a sailboat, and one week on foot, made it to Angel Falls.

Teach, Learn, Share

I want to learn about blues dancing, buddhism, other religions and cultures, yoga, sailing, swimming, flying, scuba hangliding, spelunking, well, the list is endless, if you have something to teach, the odds are I want to learn it.
I can teach someone to ice skate, ride a motorcycle.
